Rodney Mills on Vocals and Guitar, Frank Rotondo on Bass, Billy Canty on Drums and Percussion. Newest EP out in May 2025 with another EP set for late fall of 2025. Breaking boundaries with crossover songs such as Good, Bad, & the Blues, and One Way Woman the Resurrection Blues Band is making waves on both the Blues Radio and Rock Radio Stations. Broke Down In Clarksville has been a favorite on the United Kingdom Radio Circuit as well as Blame Game and Sugar Daddy, while Happy Days has had acontemporary Rock Success. Anyway you look at it, the Resurrection Blues Band is focused on not being pigeonholed into one category. GENESIS, this is just the Beginning!
Rodney Mills (Vocals & Guitar)
Formally lead guitarist and founding member of Brother Orchid, a Hard Rock band based in Benton Harbor Mi., in 1993-1995 and a couple other projects up to 1997 he called it quits in the music industry as he traveled the country as a Boilermaker then Pipe Fitter and offshore with Bisso Marine in New Orleans. After years away from his passion, Rodney finally felt the time was right to show the world what he had to offer once again. While living in Sun Louisiana in 2010 Rodney found his passion to play again and finally felt the time was right to show the world what he had to offer and picked up his guitar once again. After a 19 yr break from the music business, Rodney moved back to SW Michigan to pursue a new start with the Blues. In 2016 he joined a local blues band the Undertakers for a short run as a rhythm guitarist. In 2017 he formed a new beginning which resulted in the Resurrection of old time friends whom also were starting over. In early 2018 the Resurrection Blues Band was formed.
Billy Canty
Billy Canty has been a session drummer from Louisiana and Florida teaching Drums straight out of high-school since 1991 from which he has worked with countless high profile musicians throught his career. Billy brings a sophisticated beat to the band with N' awlins Heat!
Frank Rotondo
Frank Rotondo a Chicago born musician comes from a disciplined school of Hard knocks Bass always striving for the top. Frank started his professional career with Chicago based Rockers Paradoxx and a long career on the Vegas strip.
